“Wake up today, tomorrow will be too late; and your life will fly by without a sound. Without a word you’re left for the world to pick over. Lying there, they’ll dance around you as if you were always some spectacle to be enjoyed. Never having a place in this world beyond the grass covered plains. This is your life; Nothing more than what you allow the world to define you as. This is your life, and if you don’t wake up today, tomorrow will be too late.”

“The difference between a single breath and a single minute can be a lifetime. The world will slow, your mind will progress and the past will remain stuck in a limbo you’ll spend nights visiting. Along the way you’ll lose yourself. This minute, this moment, it will be your downfall. Subconsciously you will decide your future and you will live this predetermined destiny as if you have no choice. So let’s be honest: you never did.”

Post

There’s Always A Thing

Be careful, tread lightly-

The blades bend beneath your feet.

Run, sprint the air out of your lungs:

The fewer steps you take, the faster.

Look up, close your eyes.

The white dots outnumber the dark.

There’s always something at the end;

Unless there’s nothing.

Sometimes there’s nothing.

That’s when you lose…

Or not.

You can’t lose nothing.

Those are the best times,

You’ll see. When you can’t lose,

When there’s not a thing to be lost.

Skies will seem darker-

Look darker-

Feel darker-

They’re not darker

They’re the same.

You’re different, free.

Free with nothing to be lost.

So, run faster. You’ll lose no air

Since you never really had it.

Oxygen flows through you.

Breathe again. There. That.

That’s nothing. It means something,

Though.

It means, everything-

Nothing-

Means everything

Tread, bend, run, faster

Look, outnumber the dark-

There’s always something.

Always.

Even when there’s nothing.

That’s something.

“This project began from the theory that humans are made of cosmic matter as a result of a stars death. I created imagery that showcased this cosmic birth through the use of dust and reflective confetti to create galaxies. The models organic bodily expressions as they are frozen in time between the particles suggest their celestial creation. In addition, space and time is heightened by the use of three-dimensional animated gifs. Their movement serves as a visual metaphor to the spatial link we share with stars as well as their separateness through time.” – Ignacio Torres
